He is passionate about outcomes and has no patience for dashboards that tell you what is wrong and do nothing about it.

Edward E. Serafin III leads global security operations, threat intelligence, and the continued evolution of DeepSeas managed detection and response capabilities. His career began in early hacker culture, long before cybersecurity became a conventional profession, which gave him an instinctive understanding of how adversaries explore systems, uncover weaknesses and challenge assumptions. Over more than 20 years, he has applied that perspective to building cyber fusion centers, leading security operations, and solving complex defensive challenges with creativity and precision. He is passionate about combining the hacker mindset with AI, automation and human expertise to rethink what modern cyber defense can achieve.

Aaron Bierlein leads the Threat Intelligence Discovery & Exploitation (TIDE) team at DeepSeas. He began his intelligence career in the United States Army as a Cryptologic Linguist and deployed as part of a Signals Terminal Guidance (STG) team, where he learned how to blend tactical and strategic intelligence to help commanders make quick decisions and achieve intelligence-led mission success. After working in federal cybersecurity, Aaron moved to the commercial sector to help organizations defend their networks against threats, and now brings that expertise to the TIDE team for all DeepSeas customers.
